Simple, yet effective

I have always been a fan of finding ways to cool things. Did not really spend enough time with thermodynamics and related sciences, but deep inside, I have always felt that there has to be better and cleverer ways to make refrigeration work without using conventional energy sources. This TED talk and demo by Adam Grosser shows a simply way to make refrigeration happen and I am keen to get going with it. Perhaps an open refrigeration project?
