It is a sad day for me to be told that Dr Cheok passed away suddenly. A good personal friend as well as a person who championed open source in government. As the Director of the MINDEF CIO Office, he was instrumental in the intellectual leadership that saw Mindef adopt Open Office and the ODF as their standard. Until we meet again!
