I wish I could attend FOSS.my this coming weekend. Due to conflicting schedules (and compounded with family committments), I will miss this inaugural event.

It is really heartening to see the enthusiasm and energy behind FOSS.my. If you can, I would encourage you to make the time to attend this event for you will be able to meet with a small sampling of FOSS movers and shakers.

While keeping an open mind, I would listen very carefully at the “silverlight” talk on the 8th by you know who. Keep the FUD detectors primed.

A not-to-be-missed talk would be Pia Waugh’s closing keynote on Saturday as well as Jaya Kumar’s closing keynote on Sunday. *I* wish I could make it to FOSS.my!
