I am not surprised at all at the silence from all those who have been so vocal in supporting ooxml – especially Microsoft.

Let me invite Microsoft to the table to admit that they messed up in pushing for ooxml. We all make mistakes, so let’s forgive and move on. Let’s compete on implementation of ODF.

I would also like to send an open invitation to all governments, whether tricked by the monies and favours granted by Microsoft, to come forth and declare that their national document standard will be based on ODF.
