My good friend and mentor, Andrew, stood down from the Singapore Computer Society council after serving in it for about 20 years. I first met Andrew when I was “coerced” to join the SCS back in 1991 or so. His dry Welsh humour (albeit Singaporeanized) never fails to bring out a smile in me.
