Good that others are pointing out that the US voted NO at the BRM. Singapore and Sri Lanka are the only two in Asia who voted yes. I am told that Sri Lanka will be going to a no, so I guess it is easy moving forward to get the appropriate results here as well :-). Unconfirmed speculation has that the head honcho of Microsoft NZ was asked to pack up following Standards NZ’s disapproval of OOXML in September last year. I do not wish that fate for any one for I think it is criminal to put a person’s job on the line for something as mundane as a stupid document standard! So, please, someone from MS, please correct this perception!
