I am happy to see that Fedora 8 will be out on Nov 8. This is a significant release, if nothing else, it is the 2nd release since the entire Fedora project was established outside of Red Hat’s infrastructure. The build environment, code base are all external and this is the only totally community driven Linux project. It is a testament to the vision of the Fedora Board and the Red Hat management to ensure that they give back to the community what they take and make enterprise ready.
Looking forward F8. With that, we can build a fresh Connections Sans Frontiers liveCD/USB and send it to people in Burma and Tibet to make sure that they get their freedoms too.
