Perhaps MS is not taxing enough

While I can understand why some people would love to fork over more money to work with a convicted monopolist, I think the money forked over is too little. What Redmond should be doing is to levy a 200-300% surcharge to allow one wanting to run the Redmond OS in a virtualized environment. Redmond is leaving good money on the table [money that could pay the MS lawyers]. Think of all the stability, security and easy of use gains one gets by virtualizing and compartmentalizing a Redmond OS. Surely, 2x or 3x is a small price to pay! It is clear to me that a good Redmond OS is one that runs virtualized. Giving it direct access to hardware is being financially and technically irresponsible.
