I am in Sanya, Hainan Island, PRC to attend an industry event. We have heard of how the Great Firewall of China blocks sites and I for one can confirm one site – blogspot.com. I can get to blogger.com and log in into my account there. But when I choose to view my site, temasek.blogspot.com, it just waits and timesout. I can get to my livejournal site, but why block blogspot? I need to test this further. I am sure the site is OK, because I am also linked to my home machine via nxclient and viewing the blogspot site.
