It has been requested that people DUMP the flawed Internet Explorer and use Firefox or anything else that is not from Microsoft for browsing.

I am wondering with our local institutions make these recommendations considering that I have seen an enoumous amount of affected wintel PCs from these organizations sending out spam etc.
