Got the paper confirmation of the interview. Funny how these got mailed out. First there is an envelop labelled “On Government Service” and inside that, another envelop slightly folded to fit into the outer one, but this inner one has a paper seal around the envelop. One would be apprehensive when opening something like this. After all, it is stamped, Parliament of Singapore.

Opening the second envelop was an anti-climax. Nothing secretive there. Just a note to confirm the interview on October 22 and that there is a parking spot for my car on the grounds of the parliament. Wow. No need to pay through the nose to park in the underground public carpark. Power has it’s privileges!
