The marching forward of Web 2.0

Wikimapia is an amazing idea to be able to place information directly on the google maps by the people living on earth. Yes, this exposes all the potential military secrets and governments would be even further stretched to censor maps. I think there is a valid case for the censoring of sensitive geographical information, but the flip side of it is when the relevant information is entered into the surrounding sites to help in the inference. How much of censoring can then happen? I think a good and fair discussion on this is warranted and is not to be substituted with an outright ban.
