The Silicon Zoo is really a wonderful site. I remember back in grad school (1989, EE, Oregon State) working on my first silicon, my lab partner and I etched in a simple shape of an adder snake. We had designed in silicon a 4-bit parallel adder – now I wish I can recall the algorithm!
