I heard of the big tsunami at the 8:30 pm news on Channel I – yeah, the URL is of CNN, but there isn’t a URL for Channel I that is of any use!. It is amazing that something like that happened in this part of the world – but what was amazing, discerning from the questions from my sons, is whether it will be something that Singapore can be affected by.

Providence has thus far sheltered us from these types of calamaties, and it is incredible that the only reports of anything about the quake in Aceh is that some folks in Toa Payoh felt some tremors.
